1300+VICTORVILLE, CA — A 34-year-old Hesperia woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, causing bodily injury, following a three-vehicle crash in Victorville that left another driver with major injuries.
About the DUI Crash on Bear Valley Road
The crash occurred at approximately 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Ridgecrest Road, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies from the Victorville Station Traffic Division responded and launched an investigation.
Investigators say Victoria Larios was driving a blue 2019 Honda Civic northbound on Santa Fe Avenue at a high rate of speed when the vehicle went over a curb and sidewalk, became airborne, and landed on eastbound Bear Valley Road. The Honda then collided with a 2020 Kia Sorento and a 2024 Kia Forte.
Injuries Reported
The woman driving the Kia Sorento and her adult male passenger were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The driver suffered major injuries and was later transferred to a trauma center for further care. The driver of the Kia Forte, identified only as an adult female, was also involved, though no injury details were released for her.
Larios was transported to a hospital for treatment before being booked into the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto.
Charges Filed
Larios was arrested on suspicion of violating California Vehicle Code 23153(b), driving under the influence, causing bodily injury. She was being held without bail.
