The stabbing was reported at about 11:54 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in the 15200 block of Apache Road in Apple Valley, California.
According to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Gloria Orejel, the adult male victim was walking near the location with his wife when the couple was approached by three unknown, tall males. An altercation followed, and the victim was stabbed before being transported to a hospital for treatment.
The Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident as an attempted murder. As of this report, an update on the victim’s condition had not been released, and no additional details about the three suspects or what led to the altercation have been made public.
