1300+A multi-vehicle crash blocked at least two lanes on northbound Highway 99 at Norris Road in Bakersfield on Monday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported around 5:15 p.m. near Exit 28. CHP directed traffic to divert onto Norris Road while emergency crews worked the scene.
Caltrans estimated the affected lanes would remain closed for at least two hours following the collision.
