Warrant Issued for Suspect in Fatal Victorville Hit-and-Run Crash That Killed Two Teen Girls

$1 Million Warrant Issued in Deadly Victorville Crash

A $1 million arrest warrant has been issued for Terry Lamar Easter, 50, of Apple Valley, in connection with a fiery, high-speed crash that killed two teenage girls in Victorville. Easter, who also goes by the alias “Capone,” is considered armed and dangerous by investigators. The California Highway Patrol continues to search for his whereabouts.

What Happened in the Crash

The crash occurred on Friday, August 14, 2026, at the intersection of Ridgecrest Road and Elmwood Drive in Victorville. Investigators say Easter was driving a Chevrolet Camaro north on Ridgecrest Road at high speed alongside a Dodge Charger just before the collision. Witnesses told CHP the two vehicles appeared to be racing at the time.

The speeding vehicles struck an Acura TL as it entered the intersection from Elmwood Drive. The force of the impact sheared the Acura in half and set both vehicles on fire. Maddalyn Dailey, 17, of Victorville, who was driving the Acura, and Isabell Hill, 16, of Hesperia, a passenger, both died at the scene. The girls were remembered by loved ones as Sultana High School seniors and best friends.

Suspect Fled the Scene, Left Child Behind

Authorities say Easter fled on foot after the crash, leaving his 11-year-old son inside the vehicle. The child was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Dodge Charger remained at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter.

CHP has also identified Easter’s mother, 74-year-old Madge Wells, as wanted on suspicion of being an accessory after the fact for allegedly helping her son evade arrest. Investigators believe the drivers of both vehicles knew each other.

Description of the Suspect

Easter is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, approximately 145 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes. CHP has released his booking photo and is asking the public to report any information about his location. Anyone with information is urged to contact the California Highway Patrol at 909-428-5400.
